We are well-versed in nonprofit law and bring practical experience from our volunteer work on various Boards of Directors in the Tri-State area.  We have counseled nonprofit organizations in all stages of development from the initial brainstorm of an idea to the established group that is ready to seek tax-exemption under § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  We advise nonprofit Boards of Directors in their roles and fiduciary duties, legal obligations under Federal and State law, and best practices.  Some limited services we offer include:
